Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Director of Grants Management position in the Institutional Effectiveness and Learning division. This position is located on Atlanta Technical College’s main campus, just South of Downtown Atlanta. 

Under thegeneral supervision oftheTheDirector of GrantsManagement is responsiblefor thecoordination, development. monitoring, and completionofproject initiativesassociatedwith grantapplicationsforAtlantaTechnicalCollege.

Jobduties includebutmaynotbelimitedtothefollowing:

 

·Researchfederalorstateguidelinestodeterminerequirementsandtimelines.

·Developsgrantsapplications.

·Identifies agenciesandcommunityorganizationsrelevanttograntprojects.

·Developsgrantbudgetbasedonprogramproposal,grantguidelinesandbudgetrequirements.

·Maintainsfilescontaining pertinent information (e.g.,grantapplications,budget amendments,auditreports).

·Providestechnicalexpertise,informationandproblemresolutionforgrantrelatedactivities.

·Administersandmonitorsallgrantprojects / contracts

·Provides support andmeetsregularly concerning projects activities,status ofproject initiatives,and results of evaluating success of project goals.

·Enters andreviews data for reporting requirements andprovides data tointernal and external customers.

·Develops and / or assists withthedevelopment of policies andprocedures andrecommends changes to effectively meet the goals and requirementsof the program.

·Generatesreportsaccordingtoestablishedguidelines.

·Facilitates collaborativecommitteestoachieveprojectgoals.

·Communicatesregularlyonprogresstowardprojectgoalsand / orrequiredresults.

·Develops, implements and oversees the maintenance of filing, recordkeeping, distribution of materials and other types of office / program systems.

·Provides outreachandeducation tothe community andlocalorganizationsabout programs and services available.

·Conducts regular evaluation of services provided andmakes recommendationsonfuturedirection of project goals.

·Coordinatesprojectrelatedsupportprogramsasneeded.

·Managesandoverseesfinancial / budget operationsofthedepartment.

·Conductsregularevaluationofservicesprovidedandmakes necessary adjustmentswhenneeded.

·Evaluatesemployeesatscheduledintervalsuponreviewingofallrelevantinformation.

·Keepsabreastofpolicies,procedures,andstateorfederallawsthatmayimpactproject initiatives.

  • Maintainsexcellent working relationshipswith andserve as a liaisontointernal andexternal customers; and
  • Performs otherdutiesasassigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must possess and demonstrate a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university OR Five (5) years of directly related work experience..

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference may be considered for candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess and demonstrate a Master’sdegree or higher from an accredited college or universityORFive(5)or moreyearsofrelatedwork experience.
