General Description
The Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) is a state organization dedicated to partnering with communities to help create a climate of success for Georgia's families and businesses. SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
The Office Director plans and assists with operational and programmatic activities for the Office of Portfolio Management within the Housing Finance & Development Division. The Office Director creates and implements policies and procedures that ensure program compliance and the long-term priority of property preservation, specifically related to 26 cfr 1.42-5. In addition, the Director oversees a portfolio of approximately 1200 properties that must maintain compliance according to DCA policies outlined in the compliance manual found here:

The Office Director leads a team of 24 staff, including senior managers, managers, compliance officers, and policy staff, in applying the operating strategies. This role provides some direction and influence on agency policy and leadership across multiple units or departments.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
HCCP or Similar Certification. Bachelor's degree agin a related field from an accredited college or university AND five years experience managing professional level staff, OR nine years of related professional experience AND five years managing professional level staff, OR five years of experience at the lower level (GSM012). Note: A combination of education and experience at agency discretion.

WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT)
This position is currently designated as a hybrid (part in-office and part remote/Telework) position.This position is full time (40 hours per week) and may require occasional overtime.Local periodic travel may be required.
PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time
