Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive mental health services to patients in need of psychiatric care.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medication and monitor patient responses
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret lab results
- Educate patients on mental health issues and treatment options
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner for accurate documentation

Requirements:

- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with Psychiatric-Mental Health specialization
- Experience in patient care, family planning, and behavioral health
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, diagnostic evaluation, and vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with home care services and hospice palliative medicine
- Ability to perform procedures like spinal taps when necessary
