This position is Remote in Texas. There is 25% travel within the market.
OVERVIEW:
The Regional Director of Business Development is responsible for selling Post Acute Care services to prospective clients by identifying target prospects, qualifying the prospects, coordinating the entire sales process and successfully closing the sale.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and delivers sales/marketing presentations for the organization
- Secures face-to-face client meetings
- Leads and directs the inside sales team function within the region of responsibilities
- Builds stake holder value through successful closing of sales initiatives
- Leads and directs the proposal development process
- Responsible for strategic planning within region of responsibility
- Uncovers client needs and presents TeamHealth's solutions
- Attends meetings related to corporate development, strategic planning and executive operations
- Attends trade shows to market and represent the company
- Works with key operations personnel to construct a well-defined client target list
- Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in business related field
- Two or more years healthcare business development experience interacting with C-suite executives, thorough understanding of the Post-Acute market
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions desired but not required
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving/decision-making and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong proficiency working with spreadsheets and pro-forma development
- Ability to handle stress and conflict
- Ability to travel 25% within the assigned market as needed
