Teamsoft IT Solution’s client is looking for a Direct Hire Field Service Engineer. This position is hybrid, in Germantown, WI.

Job Summary:

1. Install, set up, and configure Markforged 3D printers at customer sites.
2. Use “design for additive manufacturing” (DFAM) techniques to design tooling and manufacturing aids for customer benchmarking and evaluation.
3. Conduct comprehensive training sessions for customers on the operation and maintenance of Mark forged printers as well as the advanced software features of the Mark forged platform.
4. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with Markforged printers remotely or on-site.
5. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of printers to ensure optimal performance.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and customer support to address customer needs effectively.
7. Document service activities, including maintenance procedures, troubleshooting steps, and customer interactions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Previous experience working with 3D printers, preferably Markforged printers, is highly desirable.
3. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
5. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed (approximately 50% travel).
7. Familiarity with SolidWorks CAD software is a plus.
8. Certifications or training in additive manufacturing technologies is advantageous.
