Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for boba and providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of boba drinks
- Operate POS systems to process customer orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Handle food preparation tasks including pastries and light snacks
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly and professional manner
- Utilize retail math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards during all stages of food preparation
- Use toast POS system efficiently for order processing
- Demonstrate strong sales skills to promote special items or upsell products
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders during peak hours

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Understanding of food safety protocols and regulations
