Tech Army is Hiring a (Master Scheduler) - Project Controls Near Aiken, SC

Job SummaryProvide Project Control and Scheduling support services to the NNSA Pit Production Operations mission being performed by Client. The primary focus of these support efforts shall provide assistance and support to the Clients NNSA Program Organization initiative by the valuation of the various project scopes, costs, schedules, and management plans and development of support procedures and processes for project integration interface with engineering and procurement.
DUTIES
  • Combine various working schedules aligned with the proposed technical approach to form a single integrated schedule.
  • Oversee and support development of schedules by schedulers.
  • Participate in review process and ensure comments and feedback are implemented.
  • Applies standard cost and/or scheduling data to departmental programs or systems.
  • Provide weekly and monthly updated project schedules and reports to project management, project controls, and NNSA.
  • Manage office schedules and coordinate deliverables and commitments.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly project reports.
  • Work with Leadership, technical and project staff to develop schedules for planning and operational purposes, actively interfacing with all NNSA Program Projects.
  • Provide a monthly report to reflect opportunities to improve schedules, efficiencies, and project end dates.
  • Prepare and distribute reports documenting the results of actions taken on behalf of NNSA Pit Production Operations and reports.
  • Prepare detailed work plans in P6 schedules on a weekly basis.
  • Utilize schedule, basis of estimate, and work breakdown structure (WBS) data dictionary.
  • Create graphs and charts to track progress various documents.
  • Lead program and project schedule meetings.
EducationREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business with 10 years related experience or
Associate’s degree with 20 years related experience.
Experience/Skills
  • Minimum of 20 years related scheduling experience.
  • Reviews work for completeness as required by project specifications and scope definitions.
  • Work with Estimating to ensure smooth, error-free integration of P6 activities with Cobra.
  • Candidate must have strong problem solving, analysis and interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
Work Hours
  • A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules, including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes Client holidays. Each workday has a 30-minute lunch. Work hours in excess of forty hours a week may be required, as authorized by Client management.
Area Security Access
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance. Supplier shall possess a positive FOCI determination from DOE which includes “Q” security clearance level. An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties. After award, the selected candidate will be notified when to apply for a clearance based on specific work assignments. Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (“L” or “Q”) within the past two years are preferred.
(I) The following table shows the Equivalency Requirements that may be applied in lieu of education and experience. The evaluation must explain in detail when using these equivalences. (See evaluation)
  • General Education Development (GED) or vocational degree = high school diploma
  • A.S./A.A. degree = Two (2) year general experience
  • B.S./B.A. = Four (4) additional general experience
  • M.S./M.A. = Six (6) years additional general experience
  • Ph.D. = Eight (8) years additional general experience
(II) The following clarification applies to all experience requirements. The evaluation must explain in detail when using these equivalences. (See evaluation)
At SRS’s option, related experience may be substituted for education. In certain cases, depending on the needs of NNSA Capital Projects the following will be considered in lieu of minimum education and experience: unique education, specialized experience, skills, and/or knowledge, specialized training, nationally recognized certification, military training and/or experience, quantity, and quantity of experience, and/or exceptional Grade Point Average.

The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance. An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties. Licenses (6 Qualification records) Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (“L” or “Q”) within the past two years are preferred. Reference check to evaluate performance capability may occur. Offeror must identify as a sub-tier company if applicable with proposal. NO EXCEPTIONS.
