Tech Observer is Hiring a Professional - Engineering - Mechanical Engineer I Near Fort Worth, TX
Join our innovative team in Ft Worth, TX, where you will have the opportunity to design components, or portions of a functional system, prototypes, or specific products for the medical device, science, and technology industries.
- Apply intermediate-level principles of engineering analysis, blending technical knowledge and manufacturing practices to provide solutions to problems arising within the department pertaining to the assigned projects.
- Write test protocols and execute prototype test execution for components and devices.
- Create and/or manage the generation of detailed product drawings.
- Design test fixtures/systems, author protocols, and execute Gauge R&Rs/validation for design verification testing.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of experience, or MS in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of experience.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in the medical device industry preferred (Class II/III preferred).
- Proficiency in Creo/Solidworks/other CAD packages (Creo proficiency preferred).
- Experience with injection molded component design and/or machined component design.
- Experience with fixture/test systems design, test method development, and test method validation for design verification testing.
- Experience with the design of small assemblies and tolerance analysis is a plus.
