Tech7 is currently hiring for a Program Financial Analyst to support our business operations.

Work Location: Candidate must be located in the Colorado Springs, CO area
Job Type: Full time

Job Description/Duties include:

  • Provide Program/Project Control support as part of the corporate finance team for various contracts.
  • Monitor contract funding status and initiate changes, corrections, and modifications.
  • Review, initiate & manage proper system project setup and maintenance (includes project numbers, billing, revenue, ceilings, labor categories, workforce, etc.).
  • Assists Directors, Project Managers, and Corporate Management in duties related to financial performance, planning, tracking, and reporting as required for each contract.
  • Communicate timecard and expense practices for the project and proactively monitor project timecards and ensure timecards and any corrections are processed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accuracy of appropriate project cost coding.
  • Process required project reports, monitor project costs, identify and resolve issues.
  • Conduct complex financial analysis (variance analysis, risk analysis, profit/loss analysis, etc.).
  • Interface with Contracts, Accounting, and HR to ensure data conformance across departments.
  • Develop and maintain tracking and reporting mechanisms used to provide continuous supervision of costs and schedules.
  • Communicate project status and findings to Project and Corporate Management.
  • Develop and execute internal and external project reviews.
  • Utilize cross-functional knowledge in business and financial management; contract management policies, procedures and processes; scheduling; and risk management, automated financial management systems, to provide foresight and guidance to staff of all levels to ensure contract financial and reporting compliance.
  • Develop and prepare financial data to support Weekly & Monthly Status Reports and Program Reviews.
  • Support ad hoc requests by internal management and external customers

Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Certifications, etc.):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting and finance or in a related area with 5-8 years or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience Deltek Costpoint required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • DoD experience preferred, but not required
  • Be eligible for Government Security Clearance
  • Candidates must possess a background working with multiple government contract types: FFP, T&M, CPAF, CPFF, and hybrid contracts.
