Department: Paint
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Classification: Non Exempt
Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand the operating and safety procedures of the department
- Prepare and mix paints
- Apply paints using airless and conventional spray methods
- Metal finishing
- Conduct inventory on paints and various other supplies and requisition supplies as needed
- Check paint thickness
- Assist others in department as needed
- Read a tape measure
- Personal Protection Equipment Training (PPE), Global Harmonization System Training (GHS), Lock Out- Tag Out Training, (LOTO)
- Onsite training available
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a production environment
