TECHNICAL RESOURCES INT'L is Hiring a Medical Writing Associate Manager Near Bethesda, MD

Job Description:
  • Provides coordination support and oversight for a team of Medical Writing Associates, including supervising staff.
  • Performs technical and quality control review of documents prepared by the Medical Writing Associates staff including clinical research-related meeting summaries.
  • Works with assigned Medical Writing staff, Project Managers, and Task Managers to manage timelines, productivity, and quality of deliverables.
  • Participates in project team and client meetings as required.
  • Develops and implements standard operating procedures, work instructions, and other tools specific to medical writing associate functions.
  • Maintains quality control processes for all procedures including document review and approval processes, consistency of style and format of documents, tracking of timelines, etc.
  • Develops scope and specific responsibilities with regards to client specific requests/projects in accordance with project management best practices.
  • Contributes to technical proposals and Business Development activities.
Job Requirements:
  • 5 years experience in life science/medical field.
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills.
  • Experience in coordinating and overseeing meeting support activities as well as attending and moderating large meetings.
  • Experience in project management and/or supervising and mentoring staff preferred.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
