IT Sales Business Development Representative

About Us: We are a leading provider of Managed IT Services, Cloud Voice Offerings, Microsoft Teams, and Azure environments, dedicated to helping businesses in the Houston metro area achieve their technology goals. We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our Houston team and drive business development.

Role Overview: As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll focus on setting appointments for our consultants by introducing our IT services and solutions to local businesses. We seek a driven individual with a hunter mentality and a knack for finding new deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Clients: Target businesses in the Houston area, develop strategies, and build relationships.
  • Cold Outreach: Engage potential clients through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and on-site visits.
  • Lead Qualification: Follow up on leads to set appointments and qualify prospects.
  • Lead Generation: Contribute to building a successful lead generation platform and suggest additional tools.
  • Use Sales Tools: Leverage sales tools for follow-up and process management.
  • Document Activities: Record all activities in Salesforce.com for effective tracking.

Requirements:

  • High-Volume Outreach: Comfortable making 300 to 500 contacts per week.
  • Positive Attitude: Enthusiastic about technology and sales.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Self-driven with determination to succeed.
  • Proven Track Record: Experience in securing business-to-business appointments through various methods.
  • Documentation Skills: Capable of gathering relevant information for future interactions.
