We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our company, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

Our receptionist is retiring and we are looking for a new hire. Below is the job description. This is an hourly position starting at $14 per hour. 2 Weeks of PTO, all major holidays, We do not offer health insurance so it is a good position for someone who has health insurance with their spouse.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES \ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Answer incoming calls and direct customers to appropriate department or person. Screen calls for salespersons and solicitation.
2. Greet customers, vendors and visitors entering the building. Direct persons to appropriate person or destination.
3. Monitor visitor access and maintain a high degree of security awareness.
4. Perform light AP and AR activities.
5. Make bank deposits as required.
6. Monitor and track past due payments and invoices.
7. Collect timesheets for processing, transfer time accounting to payroll company and maintain PTO records for individual employees.
8. Process work orders.
9. Responsible for customer satisfaction.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Strong communication skills: listening, questioning / probing, can communicate technical information in an easy to understand manner, both written and oral, and willing to share information.
2. Demonstrated above average interpersonal skills via telephone and in person.
3. High level understanding of general business functions.
4. Demonstrated strong customer service ethic.
5. Demonstrated self-motivation and attention to detail.
6. Ability to use available reference material to provide answers and resolve requests.
7. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
8. Demonstrated attention to detail.
9. High level of organizational and planning skills.
10. Broad knowledge of I/T functions.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and associated software
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 2-3 years experience in a complex office environment.
2. Ability to generate creative ideas to improve customer service.
3. Demonstrated creativity in solving complex technical problems
.4. Demonstrated willingness to help develop skills of others, transfer knowledge, and mentor teammates.
5. Experience using Zen Desk or similar ticketing system.
