Location: Hybrid - Onsite in McLean, VA Tuesday through Thursday

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Java Developer with production support experience to join our team. You will be responsible for building microservices for our contract management system. In this role, you will work in a collaborative Agile environment, contributing to both development and production support activities. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite presence in McLean, VA, from Tuesday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain microservices for our contract management system.
• Participate in Agile development processes and modern delivery methodologies.
• Provide production support, including handling infrastructure activities, incidents, and production support activities on weekends and after work hours.
• Perform unit testing and automation testing to ensure high-quality code.
• Collaborate with a team of 5 developers to meet project goals and deadlines.

Must Have Skills:

• 0-2 years of experience with:
  • Agile Methodology
  • Java
  • Spring Framework
  • Shell Scripting
  • Relational Databases (Postgres, SQL knowledge is fine)
  • Web Services
  • CI/CD Frameworks
  • Apigee
  • Selenium/Cucumber
• Unit testing and automation testing experience
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and modern delivery methodologies
• Production support experience or willingness to be trained on it

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SaaS applications

Additional Information:

• This role is W2 candidates only.
• There will be a coding test as part of the interview process.
• Production support activities will include weekend and after-hours support as needed.
