All positions are open to remote work unless otherwise specified in the requirements below.The opportunityThe Human Resources Data Analyst is a key player in our mission to hire, engage, retain, and grow the best and brightest team at TechnologyAdvice. In this role, you'll collaborate with our diverse HR team to design and implement cutting-edge reporting solutions, analyze complex data, and provide insightful recommendations that shape our employee engagement strategies. You'll not only enhance your skills but also contribute to a dynamic organization committed to innovation and excellence in human resources.

What you'll do
  • Design, construct and implement standard reporting solutions based on Paylocity and other HR applications
  • Provide insight on complex questions around reporting, dashboards and benchmarking, reconciling data from multiple sources and considering the key aspects of data management
  • Produce analysis and visualizations through technologies such as Looker or Tableau
  • Analyze perks and benefits utilization and performance against budgets
  • Manage and maintain standardized reporting and dashboards for specific audiences, monitoring usage, evaluating value added, and driving continuous improvements
  • Create, analyze, and deploy banding and leveling across roles, regions, and teams related to job competencies and compensation
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of department and employee information
  • Track and interpret trending directions for data analytics and identify potential future options
  • Maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders to keep on the pulse of what is important to leadership and build relevant analysis and interpretation
Who you are
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
  • Background and proven track record in Human Resources Business Intelligence and/or advanced HR reporting (workforce reporting, recruiting, learning, performance management and overall people data)
  • Knowledge and experience with Tableau, Looker, BigQuery, Visual Basic (VBA) scripts, Google App Scripts, and proficiency with HR technology
  • Experience reading and writing structured query language (SQL)
  • Proactive consulting skills that drive business impact; able to interpret business requirements and co-create the most relevant & pragmatic approach
  • Well-versed with related market trends, leading practices, services, and solutions
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, resource requirements, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Salary RangeTechnologyAdvice seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the world and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.
Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.
Annual pay range
$75,000—$85,000 USD
