Android Developer (OKTA Experience Required)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 5 years of development experience with Android mobile applications.

• High degree of fluency with Android frameworks and Jetpack libraries, Kotlin, and object-oriented design best practices.

• Strong coding skills with the ability to write clean, effective code at scale.

• Experience implementing app security using OKTA, and RSA Code.

• Deep experience working with and debugging RESTful APIs.

• Ability to write well-documented, clean Kotlin and Java code.

• Working knowledge of the latest Android API.

• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

• Deep understanding of core software concepts, including networking, security, memory management, multi-threading, and application life-cycle management.

• Proven experience with native app architecture patterns, such as MVVM and MVP, and designing new ones to fit unique needs.

• Complete knowledge of Android devices, platforms, and application experiences.

• Deep understanding of design patterns and API design.

• Knowledge of Android performance and security techniques.

• Experience with Git and GitHub.

• Design & Development:

• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as "touch", based on designs and wireframes provided by the designer.

• Experience with release cycle management and App Store distribution.

• Portfolio: Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app.

• Agile Experience: Prior experience in AGILE environment, TDD, and Unit testing.
