Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings. This role requires expertise in fire alarm technology and a deep understanding of local codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and local codes.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, sensors, and other components.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and functionality of fire alarm systems.
  • Coordinate with clients to schedule installations, maintenance, and inspections, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, inspection logs, and equipment inventory.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to fire alarm technology.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in fire alarm systems preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician, with demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and repairing fire alarm systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire alarm systems, including installation techniques, troubleshooting methods, and maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations, such as NFPA, NEC, and local fire codes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
