Your Opportunity:

As a program analyst you will provide technical and program support to the Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Defense Programs (NA-10). You will provide technical and programmatic support to the Nuclear Weapons Council (NWC)and executive-level technical and program support to the Senior Policy Advisor/NWC Executive Action Officer. You’ll work daily in the DOE Forrestal Building in Washington, DC.

What You Will Do:

• Serve as principal contract support specialist for daily NWC Support Team activities.
• Manage NWC joint agency events schedule and plan, organize, and manage tasks.
• Consult daily with partnering offices and agencies within Department of Defense, DOE, and Department of State.
• Provide analytics including creating, reviewing, editing, coordinating, and distributing NWC executive correspondence and reports to the President of the United States and Congress (e.g., National Security Memorandums, Plans, Directives, statutory one-time and annual reports, prepared testimony, etc.).
• Review and comment on formal inquiries from Congress through the National Security Council, NATO office constituents, and senior primary offices of record.
