TECHSTAFF of AZ is Hiring an Electronic Technician Near Tempe, AZ

SummaryThe position requires operation of assorted electronic test equipment and a basic understanding of flow meter calibration to enable the person to adjust, scale, and program complex electronic systems to specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Calibrate and program microprocessor controlled electronic equipment using personal computers;
  • Make modifications to existing boards from engineering drawings or diagrams with guidance from an Electronics Technician II or Engineering;
  • Install and solder components onto circuit boards.
  • Assemble electronic enclosures and system test electronics mated or paired with flow meters.
  • Mix and use potting compounds, conformance coatings, etc. as required by drawings and procedures.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
  • A.S. Degree in Electronics or equivalent
  • One to three years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certification to IPC-J-STD-001 desired
