Biomedical Solutions Sales Representative – DVC (Digital Ventilated Cage) Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solutions Sales Consultant to join our team. Candidates with demonstrated skills in business development, customer consultation and training within the life sciences sector are strongly encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a subject matter expert, ensuring prompt response to client inquiries and requests.
  • Train customers on how to efficiently implement and utilize the novel solutions offered by Tecniplast.
  • Consulting with customer on streamlining their equipment to improve research outcomes.
  • Proactively developing and maintaining a strong client network within your target territories.
  • Understanding each client’s needs and providing solutions to address their specific needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Tecniplast’s Digital Ventilated Cage technologies and conduct production presentations and client demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to gather customer feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of our offerings.
  • Lead the implementation process and follow up by providing hands-on training and support to clients, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance and best practices for maximizing the value of our solutions in their research projects.
  • Maintain a current understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies and the competitive landscape.
  • Travel to customer locations in North America and internationally for meetings and training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (biology, biomedical sciences, computer science, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the life sciences or research technology sector.
  • Demonstrated skills in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience selling into research laboratories, vivaria, and pharma/biotech accounts.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex software and hardware systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with customer training and consulting, including the ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • A willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events (approximately 50% travel).
