Job Description - Roll Off DriverSummary/Objective
The Roll Off Driver position is responsible for responding to crews and customers in need of roll off dumpster pick-up and delivery.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate is commensurate with position and experience.
- Individual Health Insurance paid 100% by Mahaney, a Tecta America Company, LLC.
- Life Insurance Policy paid 100% by Mahaney, a Tecta America Company, LLC.
- Voluntary dental, vision, and other supplemental benefits.
- Eligible for 40 hours Paid Time Off after 90 days and 80 hours after 1 year following 90 days.
- Eligible for 401(k) Retirement Plan after 30 days.
- Cell phone stipend.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Drives a roll off dumpster to and from job sites, customer locations, and landfill.
- Assists with operating the dump trucks as necessary.
- Assists with the organization and cleanliness of warehouse, parking areas, and all the yard property rented or owned by Mahaney.
- Maintain inventory of dumpsters.
- Communicate daily with superintendents by 3:30 pm each day to prepare needs for the following workday.
- Assist crew with load securement, as necessary.
Position Requirements

- Previous experience operating a roll off.
- Previous construction experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License: Commercial Class B CDL (Commercial Class A CDL preferred).
- Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.This position requires standing and walking. This position also requires minimal bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The employee may need to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.Employee may ask for assistance at places of business with loading material and will have assistance with unloading by other Mahaney employees.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time non-exempt position. Normal business hours will vary depending on the season. Some weekends and travel may be required.
