HIirng a Licensed Practical Nurse looking to join a dynamic and supportive team!

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Pay rate: $38 - $40/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Location: 74301 (Will float to Vinita, Nowata, and Ochelata as needed)
Uniform: Navy Blue scrubs

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general nursing care to patients by following established clinic workflows.

• May perform specific nursing care related to the specialty of podiatry.

• Obtain patient consent for care and ensure patient confidentiality.

• Document health history, chief complaints, vital signs, and health risk factors.

• Assess disease conditions and provide care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.

• Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administer prescribed medications, and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response.

• Refer to/consult with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent/resolve problems or concerns.

• Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

• Document patient assessment and intervention data using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.

• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.

• Track quality assurance data and monitor for acute and chronic care management.

• May act as a team lead for other nursing staff.

• Perform other duties within the scope of the role as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Ambulatory, Acute Care, or Long-Term Care settings preferred

• Experience with wound care preferred.

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

• Valid Oklahoma LPN or compact license required.

• Experience with Cerner Charting system.

• Flexibility to float to other clinics as needed.
