Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Java Developer to join our dynamic team in the financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have experience in Java development, with extensive expertise in Java 8 or Java 11, microservices architectures, Spring Boot, and real-time data streaming with Kafka. The role requires a depth of knowledge in designing, developing, and maintaining complex financial systems with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and development of high-volume applications for mission-critical financial systems, ensuring strong reliability, high performance, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Drive the adoption of microservices best practices, providing guidance on system architecture and design to support scalability and maintainability.
• Develop and manage robust service integrations with Kafka for real-time data processing and streaming capabilities.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies within the Java ecosystem and financial services industry to incorporate into the technology roadmap.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Java development with a proven track record of successful project leadership.
• Proficiency in Java 8 or Java 11, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and Kafka.
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry, with direct experience being highly preferred.
• Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, design patterns, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle) for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
