Tegra Medical is looking for a 3rd Shift Machine Operator-I in our Cut-Off/ECC Department.
The Machine Operator-I operates production equipment; responsible for manufacturing and assembly of customer products. Follows blueprints, guidelines and travelers to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. Being a Machine Operator I maintains required records of production and reports any inconsistencies or equipment issues following standard procedures. Has some entry level understanding of most equipment within the operation of the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to use inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, comparator, etc.).
• Maintains a high standard of quality
• Performs first piece and In-process inspection(s)
• Keeps record of all inspections and parts run
• Strive to maximize efficiency and improve quality.
• Perform JobBOSS transactions
• Flexible with the ability to change job priorities as instructed
• Comfortable with cross-functional tasks to support a continuously improving environment

You have:

• Ability to work with small diameter parts requiring tight tolerances and high quality finishes.

• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and follow work instructions.
• Have good mechanical and math aptitude.
• 1-2 years industrial experience in manufacturing/machine operating is preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Dependable, efficient and productive work habits.
• Good problem solving skills.
