Job Summary:

The Team Lead is responsible for driving their own production at/above contest level as well as executing the vision, purpose, and strategy for overall delivery in the marketplace. This production leadership role is responsible for overseeing a team of Recruiter Leads and 10 recruiters within the Technology Operations Management division for Chicagoland.

Daily responsibilities include leading, coaching, and developing the leads and recruiters to maximize their potential and drive results. The Team Lead is responsible for setting clear expectations and goals for the team during RedZone, Team Meetings, Pipeline Meetings, Network Reviews and other venues. The Team Lead will drive their own spread production while providing the necessary support to ensure their team members are able to meet production standards. As the Team Lead is responsible for driving outcomes in areas of specialty, viable candidates will need to demonstrate intellectual curiosity through their own self-directed ongoing learning efforts, as well as stay current with specialization and technology trends and ensuring their teams do the same through ongoing purposeful learning venues.

The Team Lead will work in conjunction with local field leadership (including DBOs and DOD) to identify future talent needs, align talent to meet organizational goals, and manage operational success through analysis of reporting such as Activity Tracking, Pipeline Reports, QOP metrics, etc. This role is the key connector between the local Chicagoland offices, as well as other offices within the region, and will be responsible for leveraging Talent Delivery teams (MDC and NRC) to meet business demands. 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Develop talent (recruiter leads and recruiters) through coaching, ongoing feedback, performance plans and yearly reviews
  • Set clear expectations and goals through Red zone, Team meetings, Pipeline meetings, Network Reviews, etc.,
  • Align recruiters based on prioritized business and most critical and urgent requirements on a daily/weekly basis
  • Serve as the escalation point for conflict with requirements
  • Balance the needs of multiple stakeholders (internal and external), and determine the best course of action for the business
  • Manage strong relationships with the Chicagoland offices and TOM sellers to deliver effectively
  • Maintain strong relationships with respective MDC and NRC leaders
  • Attend panel interviews and conduct initial screenings to provide input on hiring decisions
  • Actively coach the team through the use of TSOV coaching framework
  • Lead development goals conversations using IDPs
  • Partner with the Recruiter Leads and the Onboarding Coaches to ensure excellent results through new recruiter onboarding
  • Drive TEKsystems Core Values through leading by example and communication with the team
  • Drive results through accountability of Self, Team, Peers, Account Managers
  • Stay current and relevant with specialization, industry and technology trends through ongoing learning

Qualifications

Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in liberal arts, communications, business or related area preferred; combination of high school diploma/GED and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a degree, at a minimum
  • Minimum of three years of recruiting experience and one year of leadership experience preferred, as well as a track record of success balancing production and leadership responsibilities
  • Ability to collaborate virtually across functions, workgroups, leadership and teams on a continuous basis, and can build a strong rapport with various roles throughout the organization
  • Able to hold others accountable to training standards and does not shy away from healthy conflict
  • Able to build and foster an inclusive culture through empowerment, ownership and accountability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Is resourceful, agile, has strong independent problem-solving skills, and able to navigate through a highly matrixed work environment to achieve optimal business outcomes
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of the delivery business
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented, and demonstrate ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
  • Open to receiving and providing developmental feedback, and is passionate about developing self and others
  • Strong proficiency in recruiting tools such as Connected, MS Teams, and LinkedIn, as well proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note, etc.)
  • Demonstrates proficiency in leveraging company recruiting technology and executing operational processes
  • Remains current in technology, industry and recruiting trends
  • Certification requirements may exist in the future, once built/offered
