- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor.
- Monitor and record patient's vital signs, health condition and response to treatment.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
- Document patient's health progress and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse or doctor.
- Perform simple and complex nursing procedures such as wound dressing, catheterization, and administering injections.
- Assist in diagnostic tests and interpret the results.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and respect patient rights.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in professional development and training activities to stay updated with latest medical practices and advancements.
- Assist with emergency response and provide first aid care when necessary.
