Title : On-Site HR Account Coordinator

Location : Newark, DE

Pay Rate Range : $ 25-30 / hr. DOE.

Employment Type : Full-Time; Direct Hire

Schedule : Mon-Fri, 8 : 00 am 5 : 00 pm

Background Check Required.

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated On-Site HR Account Coordinator to join our rapidly growing team.

You will report to our SVP where you play a crucial role in supporting HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes within the organization.

Responsibilities :

  • HR Administration and Employee Relations :
  • Serving as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns. This includes addressing routine questions, escalating issues to HR management as needed, and fostering positive employee relations.
  • Monitoring employee attendance and working with managers to address attendance issues. Tracking attendance records and reporting trends to management for action.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding :
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, which may include preparing paperwork, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring new employees have access to necessary resources.
  • Running, reviewing, and understanding background reports for new hires. Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies regarding background checks.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to employee departures, such as conducting exit interviews and processing termination paperwork.
  • Audits, Compliance, and Policies :
  • Issuing verbal and written warnings when applicable, following company policies and procedures. Assisting in investigations and resolution of disciplinary issues in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Performing client audits to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. This includes reviewing and updating policies as needed to align with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Assist with ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws through distributing policy updates, conducting training on HR policies and procedures, and monitoring adherence to regulations and company policies.
  • Complete onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees.
  • Coordination with Other Departments :
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as payroll and operations to ensure alignment on HR-related matters and facilitate cross-functional initiatives.
  • Account Coordination
  • Provide daily / weekly reports and support to account manager
  • Timekeeping management
  • Ad hoc projects

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a human resources department or related field
  • Familiarity with basic human resources principles, practices, and employment laws
  • Strong administrative skills are essential, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), data entry, filing, and recordkeeping.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effectively communicating with employees, management, and external parties.

This includes the ability to convey information clearly, professionally, and tactfully.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and resolve problems effectively.
  • A customer service mindset - being approachable, responsive, and empathetic - in helping and support to employees and managers with HR-related inquiries and requests.
  • Always maintain confidentiality.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to changes in HR practices, technology, and regulations with a positive attitude.
