Role: Observability Engineer

Job Description:

Client is seeking an observability engineer to maintain and improve their observability tools, primarily SolarWinds and thousand Eyes, while also serving in a versatile, cross-functional role to help lead the organization's maturity journey. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in observability engineering, technical product ownership, and development, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.

Project:

Engaged SolarWinds to deploy the tool. Needing this person to help maintain, maturing and building out within APi s environment and integrating observability solution as a whole.

Key Details and Requirements:

Role and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve observability tools, primarily SolarWinds
• Tuning, creating alerts and dashboards
• Expanding the scope of monitoring as the organization grows and matures
• Serve in a versatile, cross-functional role, potentially as a technical product owner, scrum master, and developer

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency with SolarWinds and ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
• Experience in observability engineering, technical product ownership, and cross-functional roles
• Strong development skills, especially in areas like Python or JavaScript, to help build custom dashboards and integrations
