Job DescriptionAs a Back-End Node.js AWS Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side components of web applications. Your primary focus will be on building and managing scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS services, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
- Develop and implement scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS.
- Integrate and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end services.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to define and ship new features.
- Implement security best practices and ensure the protection of sensitive data.
- Monitor and improve system performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually enhance our technology stack.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a back-end developer with expertise in Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Understanding of serverless architecture and microservices.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
