- Maintain documentation of standard configuration for software applications
- Upgrade installed software for bank servers.
- Maintain and support the technical aspects of our help desk and call database.
- Troubleshoot and repair server application operations.
- Maintain network user accounts and sharing privileges.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Server OS and able to learn new software efficiently
- Certifications - Certifications from CompTIA, Network , A , and a CCNA Collaboration
- Experience working with Microsoft O365
- Extensive knowledge of Cisco IP Telephony and Collaboration
- Extensive knowledge of LANs and WANs
- Certifications with system administration
- Certification with system security
- Years’ Experience? 7 years of prior advance network support-related experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in a financial services organization preferred Where have candidates missed the mark?
- Maintain documentation of standard configuration for software applications
- Upgrade installed software for bank servers.
- Maintain and support the technical aspects of our help desk and call database.
- Troubleshoot and repair server application operations.
- Maintain network user accounts and sharing privileges.
- Document and track asset information for application software.
- Facilitate purchasing of approved network-related equipment and software.
- Work with our multiple vendors, as needed.
- Support Voice over IP communications network technical needs.
- Assist with anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-malware and network security updates.
- Administer the SharePoint/ Intranet website.
- Assist with technical training of end-users on software applications.
- Document and maintain functions and duties in Bank standard format.
- Be on call after hours and on weekends, as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Problem-solving skills, ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, and to write corresponding instructions
- Professional communication skills, both orally and written
- Tracking and prioritizing issues and projects.
- Must have a solid understanding of computer technologies, software applications, and an ability to learn and to understand technical processes and issues and solutions with ease.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, including Windows 10 and 11, and Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022.
- Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and/or governmental regulations.
- Write reports and procedure documentation.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and end-users.
- Speak, write clearly, and concisely to efficiently and effectively manage tasks.
