Tekion is Hiring a Software Engineer Lead Near Chennai, TN
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing apps for the Android and IOS ecosystem.
- Strong object oriented, flutter, React native and Kotlin skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, technical troubleshooting and diagnosis
- Good knowledge of Data structure and algorithms.
- Deeper understanding of Android Architecture and internal details of Activity life cycle, content providers, Broadcast receivers.
- Strong knowledge of the latest Android SDK.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android & IOS applications to back-end services.
- Creating tests for code to ensure robustness and performance.
- Fixing known bugs in existing Android applications and adding new features.
- Working with external software libraries and APIs.
- Hands on working on multi-threading and optimization techniques.
- Hands on multimedia development and content streaming in Android.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Collaboratively work as part of a cross-functional team and review the code written by others, including bug fixing and refactoring legacy code.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master's in Computer Science or relevant fields.
- Should be flexible enough for in-person discussion.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in Android application development.
- Skills required: Flutter & React Native (Kotlin would be considered).
- Added advantage if you have experience in Python or Golang.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL & MongoDB.
- Excellent communication skills.
