We are seeking a Supervisor who is Safety Focused and will monitor our production operations and ensure that they deliver maximum quality in a profitable manner. Your duties will include monitoring employeesÙ« organizing workflows and analyzing the efficiency of manufacturing processes. You should be highly competent and comprehend complex operations. We also expect you to be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Establish daily, weekly and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
- Ensure strict adherence to Safety guidelines to our Cardinal Safety Rules and support Safety Committee
- Oversee Safe use of equipment and monitor unsafe acts and conditions
- Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Guide and coach employees, monitoring their performance and coaching for improvement
- Prepare reports on performance and progress and present to staff
- Detect opportunities in efficiency and work with team to implement solutions to drive KPI performance
- Leverage our TWI (Training Within Industry) to training and improve our processes
- Dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good practical experience with MS Office
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, together with a results-driven approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a union setting
- Follow Up and Follow Through

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCEDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate, select, train and instruct personnel. Good interpersonal, organizational communication and mechanical skills. Computer skills required for multiple graphs, reports and charts. Manufacturing experience preferred. College degree in a related field; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
