Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Architect and design scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions on AWS, adhering to best practices and company standards.
- Implementation: Lead the implementation of AWS-based solutions, including configuration, deployment, and integration.
- Security: Ensure solutions comply with security and compliance standards, including data protection, identity, and access management.
- Optimization: Continuously optimize AWS environments for cost, performance, and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, IT operations, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to application performance, security, and reliability on the AWS platform.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest AWS services, tools, and best practices, and apply them to enhance our solutions.
- Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on AWS architecture and services.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional) are a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, automation, Infrastructure as Code).
- Knowledge of networking, security, and identity management in AWS.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Understanding of databases and data storage solutions (SQL, NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or other relevant AWS certifications.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud solutions and integrations.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and practices.
