We're partnered with an aerospace machine shop in search of a Manufacturing Process Engineer to help process jobs for companies like SpaceX, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and the US Government.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS ENGINEER – LEVEL 1

JOB DUTIES

• Detail manufacturing process plans for new parts utilizing Solidworks (modeling and drafting) and update manufacturing routers in Visual Manufacturing (ERP).
• Review and interpret customer purchase order, drawings and specifications for incorporation into the manufacturing process plan.
• Incorporate engineering changes to existing process plans.
• Detail new tooling designs for manufacturing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Associate degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related field and/or 2 years related experience in process engineering
• Machining knowledge is highly preferred
• Aerospace experience preferred but not required

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of manufacturing, engineering & quality personnel.
