**Summary of Position**

The Driver is responsible for the shipment of goods produced and received as well as the delivery of all materials on the company truck in good condition with proper paperwork at TEK Stainless Piping Products, Inc.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

As a minimum, the following is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilities expected of the Driver. These duties are not exhaustive and are subject to change as the needs of the organization require.

* Deliver all materials on truck in good condition with proper paperwork if needed.

* Ensure compliance with delivery and specification requirements of customer orders

* Pull and stage material according to the bill-of-lading and ensure the correct material is shipped to the customer.

* Obtains proof of identity from carriers and obtains the appropriate signatures on the bill-of-lading.

* Receive all incoming materials daily.

* Process customer orders daily or within the required time stated on the ship tickets.

* Prep and/or load all outbound freight or TEK trucks.

* Assist daily in the storage of excess inventory.

* Manage inventory through cycle count activity.

* Maintain facility, vehicles, and equipment.

* Keep a clean and safe work environment.

* Adhere to Teks safety rules, regulations, and quality standards.

* Adhere to Teks handbook policies and procedures.

**Required Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Good written and oral communication skills

* Good computer skills

* Good organizational, problem solving skills and time management skills

* Ability to effectively multi-task and work independently on assigned tasks

* Ability to measure using different tools

* Ability to read and calculate numbers and data

* Operate with high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers, and suppliers

* Strong work ethic; self-motivated

* Valid State Drivers License; safe driving record

**Preferred Qualifications**

* One or more years of warehouse experience

* Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
