TekStream Solutions is Hiring a Lead Security Technician Near Tallahassee, FL
A TekStream client, one of the largest wellness company in its class, is in search of a Lead Security Technician located in South or North Florida. This is a remote full-time / perm opening that requires up to 30% travel to various facilities within Florida.
Some of things you’ll be doing…
- Configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting of enterprise level security system access control, video systems, and servers
- Installing, programming, troubleshooting and performing maintenance on electronic devices, power supplies and all security and network components
- Supporting infrastructure incidents at locations utilizing security systems
- Scheduling and dispatching to customer sites for install, break/fix requests, preventative maintenance as well as small move, add, and change work
- Performing preventive maintenance actions including system back-ups, error log reviews, database size and integrity checks
- Documentation of findings for each service job performed
What we’re looking for…
- 3-5 years of physical security systems experience 1 year minimum of supervisory experience
- Experience with Genetec Security and Bosch Intrusion systems a plus
- Excellent communication verbal and written skills
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background checks
- Understanding of Networking and low voltage fundamentals
