Entry Level - Medical Office Assistant

Job Description:

• The Medical Office Assistant will ensure that the clinic flow is continuing to move smoothly.
• This associate will handle patient scheduling, referrals, obtain insurance information, and update demographic information into the EMR
• Will follow up with any clinical notes, and handle medical records as needed.
• Will be responsible for basic back office duties including vital signs, and EKGs.
• Open to candidates with previous clinical experience looking to gain entry into a Medical Assistant role - previous healthcare experience is required!
• This is a full-time, contract to hire job opportunity with benefits.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 1 year of healthcare experience (any setting)
• Open to candidates with experience including: CNA, MA's that have completed an externship, etc.
