Description:
The marketing automation specialist is responsible for design, quality assurance (QA), execution, maintenance and reporting for automated marketing programs and email distribution. This role is tactically focused on the execution and constant optimization of emails, automation rules, and other marketing automation tasks. The role will also serve as an internal consultant to marketing teams, guiding email strategy.
Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for email marketing program development and execution, including drip campaigns, dynamic content variables, and creation and maintenance of templates for use by others within the marketing function.
• Creates nurturing and scoring programs to support the marketing organization and continually evaluates these for improvements.
• Plans and performs A/B testing and execute enhancements to email campaigns to improve conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth.
• Documents marketing automation processes, programs, and procedures.
• Provides consultative support for the Marketing Division to improve email channel performance and shares best practices.
• Trains marketing resources on how to measure email effectiveness, run reports and accomplish basic tasks within the MAP.

Education And Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5 years B2B marketing experience

Skills, Behaviors And Competencies:

• Proven years of marketing automation experience.
• Strong understanding of email campaign execution, Q&A testing, and conversion measurement
• Intermediate HTML
• Intermediate CRM and Marketing Automation administration (Preferably Salesforce and Pardot)
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Strong data evaluation skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to offer creative marketing solutions and business decisions
• Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to accurately specify project timeframes, dependencies, and risk factors
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Excels at problem solving and approaching problems in multiple ways
• Able to develop strong working relationships with internal peers and agency partners, and can foster cooperation in non-hierarchical relationships
• Design and QA of lead scoring and multi-tiered programs
