Skills Needed:

2 years of medical administration and healthcare experience

Medical Assistant Certification Required (AAMA or NHA)

Clinical experience

EMR experience

A Day In The Role:

Front Desk

Registration of patients

Scheduling appointments

Insurance verification

Rooming Patients

Prepare patient for examinations and documenting patient history

Additional tasks but not limited to: Taking medical histories/Explaining treatment procedures to patients/Assisting the physician during examinations/Preparing and administering medications/Phlebotomy/Taking electrocardiograms

Hours:

Shift: 9-5 M-F but needs to be available for 1 evening shifts (12-8PM on a week day) and 1 Saturday (9-5) every 4-6 weeks.
