HIRING MEDICAL ADMINISTRATION PROFESSIONALS TO JOIN A LEADING HEALTHCARE NETWORK IN NEW YORK.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of medical receptionist experience
• Knowledge of medical insurances (Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial) including referrals and pre-authorizations
• EPIC experience a plus!

Job Duties:

• Assist in the day-to-day front end operations of a high volume practice
• Meet and greet patients and visitors. Assist patient call center, schedule and confirm appointments for office visits and studies
• Process patient arrivals quickly and efficiently according to office protocols
• Collect copayments and time of service payments. Secure and record all types of monies collected throughout the day in accordance with guidelines
• Responsibilities include verifying and updating patient information and insurance eligibility, insurance eligibility and obtaining proper obtain referrals and or authorizations for services prior to visit
• Verify patient and insurance data is accurately processed through systems applications, electronically, via website or telephone
