TEKsystems is currently looking for a Middleware Engineer with JBoss migration experience. We are looking for candidates with 8 yrs of Middleware Engineering experience with WAS and JBoss. Candidates will be responsible for migrating from WebSphere to JBoss 8 and additional engineering support.

Candidates will also provide middleware administration duties for critical to enterprise platforms, end-to-end, including WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, and WXS (extreme scale cache); Deliver middleware enterprise projects and regulatory legislative initiatives; Ensuring production stability from an ongoing support standpoint; Ensure middleware platforms are patched with the most current version of software, helping to manage risk to the customer; Provide WebSphere Application Server administration that includes server installation, configuration, performance tuning and production support; Work with customers (application teams and/or testing teams) on a daily basis and providing WebSphere and Java support; Design WebSphere infrastructure and WebSphere topology design for high availability and failover capability; Experience on Dynatrace, Ping Access administration and Splunk technologies. Provide technical consultation to other team members and their supported area.
