Patient Services Specialist

100% On-Site

Lorton, VA

$17/hr based on experience

Job Description:

The Patient Service Specialist will sit at the front desk of a busy outpatient specialty clinic in Lorton, VA.

Patient registration, scheduling follow up appointments, check in, check out.

General customer service to all patients for whatever they may need.

Answering all phone calls as they come in, helping patients with whatever they may need.

Documenting Doctor's notes on the patient files in the EMR system they use.

Multi Tasking with a doctor needing things from them, the patients being in front of them, and the phones ringing.

Will be on the phones 33% of the time, on the computer 33% of the time, and helping patients 33% of the time.

This is a full-time contract to hire job opportunity with benefits!

Schedule: Monday/Wednesday - 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Tuesday/Thursday - 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM and Friday - 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Candidate's must be available to work this exact schedule, there is no option for flexibility on these days/times.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

At least 1-2 years of administrative experience

Healthcare admin experience (medical front desk or PRA or PSC) preferred
