Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience
• Experience in direct procurement supporting manufacturing operations, preferably in aerospace manufacturing
• Knowledge/experience in US government purchasing requirements
• Proficiency in SAP

Responsibilities:

• Support production by:
• Generating RFQs and placing orders in SAP
• Communicating with suppliers regarding delivery status
• Updating purchase orders as necessary
• Expediting orders when needed
• Reconciling invoices and processing returns
• Maintain data integrity by:
• Updating and cleaning up source lists and purchasing info records
• Compiling lead-time data for annual updates
• Other duties as assigned

Additional Job Details:

• Proficient in standard procurement tasks including sourcing, RFQs, price analysis, and expediting
• SAP proficiency including converting purchase requisitions to purchase orders, updating delivery dates, running standard reports, and managing source lists and purchase info records
• Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and resolve issues promptly
• Familiarity with US government purchasing requirements
• Hybrid work schedule available

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
