The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, as well as providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Monitor budgets with department managers, build forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives
• Timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial stakeholders.
• Financial analysis and reporting to senior management, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
• Optimize financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Abreast of accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA and CPA certification preferred. 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP principles.
• Financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• NET SUITE accounting software and garment ERP systems; experience with [specific software or systems] preferred.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
