Tektree is Hiring a Material Planner/Buyer Near Athens, GA
Responsibilities:
- Plan and expedite material for production schedules
- Use MRP tools to ensure continuous material supply
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries
- Mitigate material shortages
- Manage planning parameters to minimize excess inventory
- Participate in improvement activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, or Engineering with 3 years of experience OR Associate degree with 8 years of experience
- Materials and/or Purchasing experience
- Comfortable in dynamic manufacturing environments
- Strong sense of urgency and follow-through
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with MRP systems (JDE-Oracle preferred)
- CPIM or CPM certification a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
