Job Description:

The primary role of the Territory Development Manager is to be the expert for Client products to grow and manage the daily business operations for their assigned territory. Knowledge of applications, competition, product trends, industry, and market information will assist in meeting sales targets. Grow Client's business by developing new customers, growing existing customers, and supporting channel partners.

Travel:

• This position requires customer visits and up to 25% - 40% overnight travel depending on the assigned territory.
• Domestic and international travel is required in the role. International travel clearance and privileges are also required.

• Ability to anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of the Customer to meet or exceed expectations.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects, effectively prioritize workload, and be committed to continuous process improvement.
• Ability to think strategically both short-term and long-term.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in industrial automation sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess good organizational skills to manage a variety of different tasks.
• Extensive knowledge of PC and Windows-based software including Microsoft Office products.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent is preferred.

Salary: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Industrial automation sales: 5 years (Required)
