Job Title: Junior Java AWS Developer

Need banking or financial background candidate

• Will aid in the design and implementation of modernizing our actuarial IT infrastructure.
• They will work directly with our IT development team optimizing our future actuarial systems architecture using AWS cloud services.
• The Junior AWS Developer will need to meet periodically with our actuarial business partners in periodic planning sessions and standups.

Job Description:

What You'll Do:

• Design new and modernize existing applications in support of the Actuarial Transformation initiative.
• Work with development teams and product owners/managers to build software solutions.
• Implement solutions using AWS cloud services.
• Write effective APIs.
• Work with large volumes of data in both relational and No SQL databases.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
• Create security and data protection settings.
• Write technical documentation.
• Work with actuaries and analysts to elicit requirements for software development.
