Job Description:

• Responsible for the assembly of complete prototype and production aircraft, and test articles by installing a variety of sheet metal, Composite and/or machined assemblies for new or modified articles according to engineering instructions.
• Responsible for supporting lesser grade team members in the proper assembly and installation of major aircraft assemblies, as required to meet engineering and schedule objectives.
• Responsible for FO prevention in all articles and aircraft that they are assigned to.
• Familiar with the proper use of assembly tooling and fixtures, as well as various precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, scales, and all types of gages.
• May build shop-aids, jigs, and fixtures for Experimental projects.
• Responsible for own work.
• Performs other related duties as required.
