Job Title: Laboratory Technician 3 Location: Elkhart, IN, 46515 Duration: 12 Months Job Type: Contract Work Type: Onsite Job Description
- This Lab Tech 3 position is in a group that provides monoclonal antibodies, recombinant and native proteins to support reagent manufacturing for in-vitro diagnostics.
- The candidate will perform various activities to support manufacturing.
- Humanely handle and manipulate animals and collect samples.
- Performs care and maintenance of the animals to maintain compliance with Animal Welfare regulations.
- Monitors health of animals, provides routine healthcare, maintain animal health records and interact with attending veterinarian.
- Preparation of buffers and solutions for manufacturing
- Preparation and autoclaving of supplies for cell culture manufacturing.
- Regular monitoring and cleaning of lab equipment and lab spaces
- Associate Degree in biology, chemistry or related discipline or equivalent industry experience
- Proven good laboratory skills
- Available to work weekend and holidays on a rotating basis
- Industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO is a plus.
- The successful candidate will be good at time management, possess well developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
