Job Description:

• The Quality Engineer participates in the development, execution, and oversite of products and processes used in the manufacturing environment to ensure robust and cost effective designs.
• This role includes developing and helping to integrate systems that support compliance and traceability requirements in accordance with AS9100.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or applicable science degree. Master's degree a plus
• Minimum 5 years experience with a Bachelor's degree or 2 years experience with a Master's degree.

• Experience with Metrology/Calibratio
• Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality system
• Strong understanding of how businesses work; is knowledgeable in current quality practices and makes recommendations regarding future policies and practices.
• Is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
• Demonstrates a very advanced level of root-cause analysis
• Ability to solve complex problems and assist with the implementation of continuous breakthrough improvements
• Must have advanced knowledge of product manufacture and inspection, testing and technology
• In depth knowledge of problem solving methods and technique
• Knowledge of process management, technical specs, regulatory guidelines and contractual requirement
• Excellent presentation skill
• Ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions while in compliance with policies and procedures
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
